Paid Post -- PayPerPost Direct
Those wacky geniuses over at PayPerPost are at it again. Not only have they afforded me the opportunity to get paid to blog for the past 6 months, but they now have a system set up where you (or anyone else, for that matter) can make me on offer to blog about your goods/services directly. Previously, an advertiser needed to go to PayPerPost and open an opportunity up to an entire group/class of bloggers, hoping that the bloggers who took the opportunity were the ones they wanted.
With PPP Direct, there's no longer any worry about bloggers you don't like getting your opportunities. Instead, the advertiser can offer a payment directly to the blogger, getting a 100% chance that only the blogger they intended will get the opportunity to blog about their goods or services.
Some of PayPerPost'c competitors charge a hefty markup (up to 100%) for this service, PayPerPost has taken the high road and only charge 10% to process your request (and half of that goes to paying Paypal and credit card fees).
To see an example of how this new system works, you can read about it on the PayPerPost blog, or you can watch a video of the process here. It's really rather simple and straitforward (which is good for the slow people like me...). Additionally, Andy Beard, (who authors a Niche Marketing blog) has a post about this new feature here.
This new system is the best of both worlds for both the blogger and advertiser -- the blogger can continue to use the same system to which they have become accustomed, and the advertiser gets their message out in exactly the outlets desired. PayPerPost just acts as the medium through which money exchanges hands (which keeps the blogger and advertiser from the clumsy process of working out payment process and details...).
Keep it up PayPerPost, we all appreciate the rapid and continued upgrades.
